Well because women keep running over there kids here, car companies have way stricter safety standards in the US than anywhere else, so it's IMPOSSIBLE to make a cheap car here. Any car pretty much gets 1-2K tacked on the price to make up for the safety crap it has to go through to get sold here. It sucks man. We get nothing good in the US ever. :<

The Acura was heavier cuz Acura is the luxury brand so it has to have more luxury things to be luxurious to people. And the Acura symbol is the Honda H on acid.

Also really fast, was the indy pace car for a while, AWD V6 Twin-Turbo

Actually Acura NSX and Honda NSX where the same. The hand conversion and safety made it heavier.

Honda and Toyota are considered luxury in Japan, because the luxury cars are just named Toyotas and Hondas, but they have the same features.
Same goes for Nissan, but ever since the release of the GTR I think of Nissan as a little more upscale than those two, slightly.

I've only seen one skyline IRL, R33, someone nearby owned one.

Nobody imports in Canada, rarely ever. You cannot import a car that is newer than 15 years and you barely anyone bothers.
Because it's Canada, Canada is supposed to be safe and boring, not fun and exciting.

I go to US, and my uncles friend owns a Ferrari F430 and a Strawberry (S15), like wtfff, rich new yorkers.

I saw the ferrari, only pictures of the strawberry.

Also Canada has to pay more than the US.
Only Ford Edge, Dodge Caravan Family, Honda Civic, Chrysler 200, and some of those ugly lincolns are cheaper than normal here because no import tax -_-

America's top selling car is a full Size Pickup, then another full size pickup, and then a mid-size car.

Canadas is Compact (civic), Compact (Corolla), and Compact (Focus).

Its always the same thing too, nobody can afford nice cars ;-;

i do admit that we do have alot more here than everywhere else. its hard to t drivve for an hour and not go passed a skyline, or an mr2, or a SR20. but its definitely not a buyers market.... everyone buys these cars (especially new drivers) and will either keep it forever, or write them off unfortunately. for cars that arent manufactured any more, the care that should be taken with them should be paramount...
