Two possible personas: 1) You are a melbourne doctor who is tired of seeing young people affected by alcohol-fuelled violence in the hospitals. You are invited to attend a meeting to convey your perspective.
2) You are a local businessman/woman who owns a liquor store. You are concerned about the impact of such a legislation (raising drinking age to 21) if it were introduced on your business. You have been invited to attend the community meeting to outline your point of view.
I'm trying to think what to write about... can people help?
Currently I've got 2 ideas for the second persona: 1 - Law-abiding 18 - 20 year olds that like to drink will suddenly be prevented from drinking for a few years for no real reason. By the age of 18, people would have reached the maturity to at least drink responsibly. If they haven't by then, they simply never will.
2 - Introducing this law won't prevent underage drinking, rather, it may encourage rebellious activity.
I need at least three arguments TwT
Can people PWEASE help? Pretty please? ;-;

more people will face charges for buying minors alcohol which means less business and it will encourage underage drinking which will put more people in jail/bad financial situations which means less people spending money and keeping the economy rolling and more tax dollars having to be spent on law enforcement.
halpful? D:

I'd love to stay and have another beer And we could waste another year Saying how last one was better Do you remember the time?
Now the only time I see you smile and sigh The only time I see that sparkle in your eye Is when you talk about getting another bag of dope
I hate to see you when you Reach for the bottle Reach for the needle Reach for the little white pills To kill the pain
Think you're so wild with the bottle in your hand Slurring your speech, barely able to stand But you look just like a younger version of Your stupid drunk old man
When you reach for the bottle Reach for the needle Reach for the little white pills It kills your spirit It kills your imagination It makes me sick it makes me sad It makes me wonder what happened to you It makes me reach for the bottle too
