Durant Banned from RU

RU Round 5 results came in earlier today and here they are:

Durant: 7-2 Ban

Sharpedo: 1-1-7 Not Banned

With that Durant will be banned in standard RU play, while Sharpedo will most likely not be considered a suspect again, barring major metagame shifts!

So Durant is now gone out of the blue which is odd since it is terribad and Sharpedo is actually good.

Durant actually does pack quite a punch, hustle coming off his base attack is no joke (and that is further boosted by LO or CB or even Hone Claws), that in combination with his trollish speed stat too.

I was actually going to ask when did this happen when I updated the tier list earlier because I battled one of those just yesterday. Thanks for updating.

I had seen you had updated the tier list with durant and I was like wuuutt and so I checked smogon right away and saw it had been added to BL2 that very day xP

Hustle lowers accuracy and generally Zweilous is better at abusing it than Durant because Eviolite gives Zweilous bulk in both defenses whereas Durant is really easy to hit on one of the sides.  But though Durant is ok in RU, I dont think it was bannable, it was 38th in the RU stats last month, so near the bottom of RU and there were clearly stronger things people had to deal with.
