Different people have different standards. A person living in a first world country, and a person living in a third world country, have different standards of lifestyle, so their point of comparison of what is bad, and what is good, are different. Someone from a first world country might **** about something like a lack of food in the fridge instead of being happy they have food in there in the first place, while someone from a third world country might be happy that the riots around the area have ended instead of cursing their life for living in the area with the riots in it. Because different people think of things differently like that, according to their living standards, wouldn't that mean it takes more to tick off someone that has lived a less enjoyable life, and less to make them happy, and the opposite for someone who grew up with "everything" ? If so, wouldn't that mean everyone in this world all experience a comparable amount of "ups" and "downs" in average? What do you guys think? I know I've missed out on a world of factors, but yeah, replies and opinions please?

Happiness is relative If something good happens to you then it makes you happy but if someone else has that all the time then it's just average for them and then if something better happens then they are happy, then if it happens to the first person they are super-happy so it's all relative to what the average is for someone. The key is to just enjoy anything good that happens nomatter the size of it.
