What about the terrain gen bugged you?
1.0's terrain was awful. Every bloody seed was an ocean biome which is boring, so only islands pretty much and not continents to traverse. It was a lot darker and less colourful in the atmosphere of it all. The swamps were ugly and there was no beaches. the generation was a lot messier in terms of blocks too. It was a hassle and tons of people hated this, it became a big complaint online from others too, so I downgraded
