Possible Ruby Sapphire Remake Discussion Thread

I kind of like how as time goes on all Pokemon are becoming epic.
1st gen only the starters and the trade evos (Alakazam, Golem, Gengar, Machamp) plus Dragonite were epic outside of legends. And even then none of them could really stand as a legend. Now with Gen V, I'm under the impression that every final evolution is a legend. Hydreigon, Zoroark, Cofagrigus, ... They're all way too awesome to just be "regular" Pokemon like Shiftry, Cacturne, Azumarill, etc.

Agreed~ Not saying that Gen 1 is no good. There are still epic ones in there too.
And, seriously, no one can like them ALL.
There are just too many, for every tastes.

What I want the most out of a Ruby/Sapphire remake is to get to do once again the quest for the three Regis, as well as finding Rayquaza. There might be a nice cinematic just like the Ho-Oh summoning ceremony in HeartGold <3

Agreed. I loved in emerald the whole chasing them.idea, where they would hide in caves and tuff

I want a remake of the games. (OMG Magoo wants these games, what the hell?)
As some may know, I never completed any Gen3 game.
It would give me the chance to do so. :V
And I want them on 3DS CAUSE IT'S SUCH A SHAME THAT ALL NEW GAMES STILL COME ON THE FREAKING DS!

Gen 1 had the least originality.
Gen 2 had the most diversity.
Gen 3 was quite original however, it didn't appeal me.
Gen 4 had the least Pokemon and had many new evos and was kinda lacking a bit in originality.
Gen 5 brought new original Pokemon. Personally my favorite.

You do have to admit that you enjoyed the earlier generations a bit more because of Nostalgia.

All the gens have pros and cons but the pros outway the cons and I think they come up with new original ideas each gen of all kinds of interesting thing.  Sure a digimon like idea like Klink line comes along every so often, but it's fine, it's style is based on the gear getting bigger to get more electric charges in chargestone cave.  I like pretty much all the Pokémon in some way, in different ways.

Yes Hoenn stuff with awesome cutscenes would rock.  The cutscenes in Emerald were cool enough, but having them in DS standards would be the most boss thing ever.
