V-Create Rayquaza Event in Japan

Late last year, a promotion ran to discuss the Pokémon to be given in Japan during February. This promotion was to give a Pokémon that used to cover a version of the Pokémon games. When the voting ended on December 25th, Rayquaza was found to have won. Today, the official site revealed the details of this event. This Rayquaza is Level 100 and has its usual ability of Air Lock. However, the moves it has is are more unique. It has the moves Extremespeed, Hyper Beam and Dragon Pulse, but more shockingly, it has Victini's special move; V-Create. The giveaway will be in store from February 10th to February 27th. We'll provide more details as it comes.

At least they decided to give Rayquaza something new since it doesn't have a Dream World ability.

If only it didn't have Air Lock, a Drought boosted V-Create would be devastating.

Now that I think about it, I wonder what special move Arceus will get when it comes to the US.

I haven't played much of Black and it's been a while since I've been in Pokemon mode but what's global link? Also how do we aquire this when the dates come? Was it like the other events where you did that event thing and you recieve it? and is it around for everyone to get or only Japan?

This Rayquaza is only for Japanese players though, US will get Arceus, I dunno about other regions.

What if I live somewhere else and have the Japanese version (I don't), pretty sure Australia has the US version.. not sure. (is DS/3DS region locked?)

I'm pretty sure the Japanese games should work, I remember people getting the Electro Ball Mewtwo and other events (like Movie Golurk and Hydreigon) from Japan, you'd have to ask someone who has done it for sure.

Since this is DW, as long as you are able to go on to the Japanese Global Link with your Japanese game, you should be able to get this event.

also the information doesnt say it's going to be global link, the fact it has its normal ability shows it probably wont, also I think it said it would be in stores.

This is the Global Link Vote event (Befriend a Pokemon), so yea it will be on the DW, I'm pretty sure they chose Rayquaza.

Edit: Wait, I think they chose Arceus, so I dunno what this event was for, it says cover versions, so it may be on the Mystery Gift like you said. I don't remember two voting things though in Japan.
