zeXal is less dark and mature than 5Ds, it's more happy and kiddy, but it's still pretty cool. This crazy kid has to collect 100 cards called the Numbers to get this alien dude's memory back, but some other badass guy is after the numbers too and he steals souls to get it.

Sounds kinda familiar.... I don't think I could get into the new series. My favourite was still (I think it was called dark duel stories) the one where they go back in time when yami was the pharoa

dark duel stories was one of the video games xP

the season in the show were they go back in time was season 5 of the original yugioh and also the last seven volumes of the manga, it was called Milennium World.
