I don't think I've posted any photos from dog agility shows before, so thought I'd share a couple.

None of these are the dog I run, but these are the trophies and rosettes I won at the last show Smiley

And some of the dogs when I've taken my camera

There's a lot more photos but I don't want to spam it with loads of them.

Sorry if I shouldn't have posted or I bore anyone, it's just so fun I like to share!

Anyone else do any fun hobbies? Grin

really cool!! i've always thought it was cool how people can teach dogs how to do all that fancy stuff like weaving through poles and going through tunnels and the like but obviously i'm taking their mental capabilities for granted, haha

When I was younger, I had always wanted to do this very thing.

Yeah it's competitions Smiley I'm doing a trial for Crufts in October. I don't think we'll get through but it's still worth having a go.

I love it, I take my uncles dog. I had no idea how popular it actually was but there's hundreds of people at shows!

There's a set course for the dogs, with jumps, tunnels, weaves and the frames they climb up. You have to get your dog to do it perfectly and as quickly as you can. The course is all numbered so if you go wrong, eliminated.

I'm not in this obviously but this is a crufts video from last year, if you skip to about 7 mins in you see some dogs running

There's different grades, the higher grade you get the harder the courses are but the courses in the video look fairly easy for Crufts level so it gives a good idea Cheesy

The dog I run is very fast and excitable, when I have control of her she's absolutely amazing but when I don't, I have to try and keep up with her... I have like joint problems and stuff so it absolutely knackers me Shocked

It's not pain exactly, my ligaments aren't right and I sprain things really easily and for some reason pull muscles easily. I still did it with a pulled muscle in my neck not long ago and it wasn't a good idea Embarrassed
