Ok, so this RP is a bit of an experiment.  It's basically a Sci-Fi universe where everyone contributes to the lore equally.  That means everyone can contribute their own Races, Cultures, Factions, Planets, Historical Events/Plotlines, etc.

No particular sign-up sheet for things other than characters, just give a good description and feel free to make it up as you go along.

Races:

Name: Anthrosians
Contributor: Daniel
Planet of Origin: Anthros
Average Lifespan: 45 Earth Years (Varies with each Subspecies)
Subspecies: Too many to count
Appearance: Bipedal, animal-like appearance (mammalian in most cases), appearance differs heavily based on subspecies.
Description: One of the first alien species to be discovered by humans, many consider them to have descended from a common ancestor with terran species.  How they ended up so far from Earth is still a mystery.
Culture: Before forming it's first unified civilization, Anthrosians were highly xenophobic, leading to many separate cultures and eventually subspecies with a wide variety of beliefs.

Name: Yverians
Contributor: Vansalon
Planet of Origin: Yverias
Subspecies: None
Appearance: Yverians are slightly taller than humans. They are more slender, and have pointed, uplifted ears and almond shaped, cat-like eyes. Their hair is almost always a light shade, except for the rare black. Exotic colors like lavender or cyan are common. Their eyes are always blue, red, white, green, lavender, or gray. When channeling starlight, they gain a corona of light of the appropriate color that lasts for a few seconds through an hour after they finish manipulating starlight, depending on the strength of the effect.
Description: Yverians are an ancient race, the only sentient one native to Yverias. They are not near so advanced as most races, in an age akin to a fantasy era. They still use swords as weapons, and such. However, they can emulate most modern devices with energy called starlight, a name which isn't literal, which they can draw in to themselves and manipulate after the aforementioned mark develops. They can even use a technique called "Thought trumps Space" to move incredibly fast and discard the need for breathing, allowing them to simulate space travel. Only the most powerful Yverians can actually use this technique, however, so they imbue the power into pendants anyone can use. Starlight's power is divided into four color coded spheres:
Orange: The weakest sphere. Most adult Yvelians have already mastered this. It contains weak elemental effects, minor healing and mind affecting starlight, and a very weak creation ability.
Yellow: The yellow sphere is basically everything that's in the
orange sphere, but more powerful. Adult Yvelians who bother to study can master this fairly quickly.
White: The white sphere contains major healing effects, highly destructive and powerful elemental magic, major creation effects, and anything generally high level.
Blue: The incandescent blue sphere contains the most powerful starlight, of cataclysmic power. Altering space/time, killing people instantly, elemental magic capable of destroying planets, etc. The amount of Yvelians who can use this sphere are at all are only a handful, and the number of masters can be counted on one hand.
Yverians live an incredibly long time. There is no recorded Yverianwho has died of old age at this time. They reach maturity at about age one hundred and twenty five.
Culture: Yvelians live mostly in peace, studying starlight and growing in power with it. Their society is ruled by a single queen, who, as far as they can remember, has never changed. It's always been the same woman, one of the most powerful Starlords (as manipulaters of Starlight are called) in existence. Queen Rayena. She is a master of the blue sphere. Yvelians abide by a set of laws, similar to human laws, but with some extra rules regarding starlight. Duels between Starlords are common but rarely fateful. Yverians are a naturally curious race but despite this rarely venture away from Yverias.

Name: Borineans
Contributor: Cooper
Planet of Origin: Gorafia
Average Lifespan: 96 Earth Years
Subspecies: None
Appearance: Very similar to humans. Their lower jaws are slightly larger, and the hair-like substance on their heads is thicker. Also, a small crest spreads from the center of the fore head to the back of the head. Also, the neck, crest, forearms, and legs are covered in a special hide that is very similar to chainmail. Their skin is the same as Caucasian humans save for a gray tint. Their eye colors include light and dark tints of blue, gray, gold, and green. Their hands have four fingers with an opposable thumb coming out of the middle of the palm. Their feet have two large twos each that take up 50% of the foot's mass. Borinean shoes are made to fit around each toe.
Description: The race is very low in intelligence, but they are known for their wisdom. Though they fully welcomed the humans when they came to their planet, some humans treat them like slaves and some even make them fight each other. The race was still in a slow age when the humans came; something similar to the civilizations of Biblical times. The Borineans are believed to have been a sentient race for about 3000 years. They originated from the area known as the Valley of Borine.
Culture: As of current years, the Borineans believe in the feudal system. They govern their planet alongside the humans in an allied feudal/democratic system.

Species: Telicons:
Due to their rather weak bodies, they can't advance further physically, but their technology is more advance then what others worlds would expect from their more nature-looking world. They, by name, are beings of telepathic capabilities and telekinetic abilities. Even at young ages they can lift masses of inanimate objects ranging up to 100ft which is how they also managed to build their utopias. Their intellectual skills are inherited by their parents and by this logic, they are essentially the same person depending on gender (male child take after their father and same for female children and mothers). They do however have their own personalities despite their genetics. Some are gifted with two and or three of these three abilities:
-The less than useful one, Telepathy.
-The most useful one, Telekinesis (though a breeze to lift inanimate object, other beings, capable of movement, can be bothersome for them to try and keep still if they're not strong enough to lift them).
-The most dangerous, and rare to be born with ability, Mind Control. At birth, this ability can be detected by a baby that cries more than usual ones, which is because this ability can strain the wielder's mind for some time until they're one. This ability cannot harm other Telicons or Telitols but has the possibility to permanently damage the controlled mind if the controlled person is under the effect for 24 hours and over.
Due to such an issue, a device was made to repair a person's brain in such an event would happen, but upon repair, it causes permanent amnesia and the person will have to start up their life again. Telicons don't breed often and because of such their societies are rather small.
Description: They look human but are much larger then normal ones ranging from 8'11ft (Smallest recorded) to 12'9ft (Largest recorded). Their hair color range from White, Grey and Black. They wear cloaks with colors that vary with their hair color. Their eye color is mixed of Blue, Red and Yellow and the Telicons and Teli-Omegus glow their eye color when using their abilities. Their age is simple to understand, 10 years in Earth Time = 1 year for them but divided to have them look like 5 year old. Double the amount for the Teli-Omegus so that 1 year = 10 and 2 = 20 for Adult. They maintain their youth until the hit age 1000 for them (10000 earth years) and then become elders and die roughly around 1200 (12000 Earth Years). They begin breeding once they hit 500 years but the development process to give birth is still roughly 9 Earth months. The have the same skin colors as Earthlings, but the Teli-Omegus can be completely White (not like pale, but sheer colorless). Telicons, Telitols and Teli-Omegus refer to groups of themselves as the Telis. They can be like scavengers as they have ships that travel light-speeds and cloak themselves. They blend in with other humans despite their height to preform tasks like mind reading and learning about other's customs. They gather soil-grown foods from other planets to research if their foods can be planted on their home planet, Telisky.
Subspecies: Telitols - Telitols are similar to Telicons, but they lack the abilities that Telicons can have. Instead, they have their same intelligence and inheritances capabilities, but instead they're physically stronger and immune to all known and unknown viruses and diseases. On an ironic twist of fate, Telitols have better mental capacities than the Telicons so that in theory, if they could have the abilities to use the mental abilities Telicons can, they would be more stable to use them. They are the warriors of the two races and are consider by the Telicons, "The Immortals", which is because of their physical strength and endurance, along with having such a strong mind and immunities to hostile viruses and ailments alike. The two Races are human races that just happen to be far advanced, and can breed with one another to potentially create a child of a new Subspecies.
Subspecies: Teli-Omegus - The Teli-Omegus are the result of a Telicon or Telitol breeding. This resolve creates a super being of the two having all capabilities of a Telicon (Mind Control is still rare), and the physical capabilities and immunities of the Telitols. They are what both the Telitols and Telicons consider, "The Invincible". They age faster then the two, but live much longer. At just age 1, they look live fully-developed Earth Kids and age 2 adults (so 20 years old in Earth Years) and it's doubled for Telitols and Telicons (Age 2 is Kid and 4 is Adults) but can still hit around 1000 (10000 Earth years). Teli-Omegus can't breed more Teli-Omegus if they breed with Telicons or Telitols. Instead, they make the opposite of what they bred with (Breed with a Telicon, the infant is now a Telitol and vice verse). However, they can breed with other Teli-Omegus for a split 33.3% chance of having one of the three species as their offspring.

Name: Wanhiasheem(Unconfirmed)
Contributor: Cooper
Planet of Origin: Gorafia(Unconfirmed)
Average Lifespan: Unknown
Subspecies: Unknown
Appearance: Unknown
Description: Thought to be the original sentient race of Gorafia, with intelligence much higher than the Borineans, probably near the intelligence of humans.(Unconfirmed)

Name: Wanikotans
Contributor: Cooper
Planet of Origin: Koernia
Average Lifespan: 36 Earth Years
Subspecies: None
Appearance: Short humanoid with skin very similar to leather. Their faces seem to be stuck in sadness; their eyes look saddened and their mouths are stuck in a permanent frown, and their faces are covered in wrinkles. Their arms come down below their waist, and their hands have two fingers and an opposable thumb. The elbows have a small, knubby appendage that suggests something was once there. Naturally, their legs are proportionally small. However, at birth, their feet are amputated and replaced with a special unit that gives out thrust to keep the Wanikotan hovering. Protruding from their backs are two appendages that look like airplane wings. These look like they are used for flight, but they are too small and can not move.
Description: The race is immensely uniform. They do not differ in natural appearance at all. The only way to tell one Wanikotan from another is to be able to recognize their mental signature, which is shown telepathically. The Wanikotans are naturally very intelligent, and have succeeded in many things on their planet. Their high intelligence even allows for telepathy and telekinesis. However, they have no interest in space travel and have not dealt with it at all.
Culture: The Wanikotans embrace their uniformity with the clothing that they wear. Every Wanikotan wears the same leotard-like artical which is white with a tall, black letter "U" on the front and back. The natural part of their legs is also covered in a thin, felxible, white metal. Their government consists of a feudal system with one king and one queen who make decisions for all of Wanikotea, the whole of the Wanikotan race.

Name: Venator
Contributor: Zohaib
Planet of Origin: Opacus
Average Lifespan: 150 human years
Appearance: Alien looking people. Looks like a mix between Turian race from mass effect and Sangheili (Elites) Of The Halo Games. Mid-size build, average height would be 6'0 -7'0.
Description: Very strong proud people, famous for traveling through the galaxy with use of advanced tech. In battle they are known for quick decisions and cat-like reflexes, while having quite capable strength. They breath normal oxygen, just like humans.
Culture: They have a hierarchic government and way of life. Every time it is time for a ruler to stand down, the two most likely candidates (Usually the Ruler's sons or son & rival) battle for the "Iubar Armor. A ceremonial armor worn by the ruler. The ruler's name by the people is Iubaris.
At the age that the Venators become an "adult" (20 human years), the young teenage Venators are sent out to caverns around the planet to bring back the "Apex" Flower, a fruit named after the armor, it is a special flower that is very highly respected in the traditional community. With science advances, the Venators have been able to adopt space travel and minor teleportation. They also have adopted inter-plantery communication devices.

Planets:

Name: Anthros
Contributor: Daniel
Description: Homeworld of the Anthrosians, and the ninth planet in a Blue Giant star system.  The name was dubbed by the human science team of the FTL Ship: "Discovery", to fit the appearance of the inhabitants.  The areas near the equator are the most populated, containing thick forests.  Further from the equator in both direction are two completely separate oceans that wrap around the entire planet, these are spotted with tiny islands containing some of the less common subspecies.  Past the oceans are the polar ice caps, the least populated areas, they are frozen wastelands that most life on the planet cannot survive, although there are a handful of subspecies that do exist in these locations.

Name: Gorafia
Contributor: Cooper
Description: A planet very identical to Earth except for land masses. Humans have lived here alongside the Borineans for 600 years. The planet's ecosystem is about 50% Earth animals and 20% Earth plant life. Also, most of the animals were domesticated on the journey from Earth, and many retain at least some domestication. The civilization of the planet is currently in a sort of modern medieval system. Technology is at the same level of Earth, but the government is a mix between a democratic and a feudal system.
The entire planet itself is governed by one body, the Gorafia Council. The capitol city is Deri, and it lies at the cross of the planet's equator and prime meridian. Other cities and towns include Joriasin, Ark City, Borine, and Niohasia. Important landmarks include Mount Cane, the Ark-87 Preservation Site, and the Valley of Borine.
It is highly theorized that Gorafia has or has had another sentient race other then the Borineans. Multiple places have buildings and machines that require technology far beyond the intelligence of the Borinean race. The strongest evidence is the immense facility built inside of Mount Cane. Evidence suggests that whatever race existed on Gorafia either died out or left the planet at least a century before the humans arrived. Looking at ancient Borinean etchings on the facility's walls, the race is believed to have been called the Wanhiasheem.

Planet: Telisky:
It's a lush green and blue planet with 12 continents and lots of water and four orbiting moons. Interestingly enough. The have no wastelands or mountain areas, but the polar icecaps are still cold and heavy in snow and ice. The planet is incredibly large and strangely enough have no other creatures besides a few species of birds. Theirs no water or ground dwelling creatures, except for pet birds. Younger of the Telis think that they may have gone extinct or just evolved into what they are. The only real landscapes are trenches that are found around mountains. They have a system similar to capitalism and have two electric conductors at their north and south pole with durable electric rails connecting in the skies to the other ten continents. The reason electric conductors are out there in the snowy areas is because the storm clouds there are lightning clouds too. In fear of being invaded, they set up three defense systems:
-One is The Armed Disturbers that shoot out three different waves. One is a electrical wave capable of taking out a ships electronic capabilities. These waves only temporarily shut it down however. The second wave is a gravity wave that pulls in the disabled ship. The third wave is a blasting wave made to destroy incoming meteors and other objects if found threatening. These Disturbers are stationed on the four moons and the twelve continents in pairs of five.
-Second one is the Valkyrie Warships that are remote controlled. They are merely dummy ships that can either act as a fighting ship or a search missile that works like a nuclear warhead. They are developed slowly however so the Telis try not to be wasteful and won't have them active on days of no threats.
-Third defense is a group of satellites that circle the globe. If a ship or life forms unknown to the Telis is detected, the satellites glow and create a cloaking barrier around the planet. Wears off after three hours from the detected time.

Name: Mars
Contributor: Sato
Description: Mars, is of course Earth's "Sister Planet" in the Milky Way galaxy. After terraforming was completed on Mars in the year 2235, humans were finally able to settle in, free of space suits or glass domes to keep them protected from the planets surface. However, it wasn't long before the humans realized they were not alone. The Martian people (who were human in form but with a much darker skin, and a much taller and muscular figure than the standard human), who had been hiding underground, afraid of what the humans could have been doing for the past 200 years, suddenly came up to what they assumed would be the dry wasteland that was their home.
Initially, the Martians were going to kick the humans off their planet, it was their home, and they'd just come in with their rockets and domes and decided they owned the place. Of course, the Martians couldn't have that! However, after the Martians saw how the humans had changed the landscape of the once barren, lifeless desert they called home, they greeted the humans, and began to make a peace treaty with them.
Fast forward five years, the Martians and Humans have agreed to live in peace on the surface, so long as they can all work together. Eventually, the Martians and humans became a little... too attached, and began to breed, creating a new, sub-species of Martian and Human known by some as the "Martian-Colonial" (The name being based on Martians, and the Human colonials who had settled on their planet.), who are currently the dominant species on Mars.
Despite all the odds, due to the similarities of the humans and martians, they've been able to work with each other for these 500 or so years, without any planet-threatening wars or rebellions. That's not to say they weren't close (The Martian Missile Crisis of 2262 comes to mind), but the two species seem to be meant for each other.

Name: Opacus
Contributor: Zohaib
Description: A rather dark planet, where the three moons are seen more than the sun. Plant life has adapted to not have a need for sunlight, while still being able to produce oxygen. The planet is known for the "Vexatio Comet". Every 30 or so years a green comet flies close to the atmosphere dropping massive amounts of chlorophyl and nutrients for planets, this is probably how the planets survive without much light. The planet is very earthy in looks, and in some of the midlands there are full-fledged cities, similar to modern earth ones. There are many deserts and rocky areas near the bottom of the planet.

Factions:

Name: Unified Terran Alliance
Contributor: Daniel
Description: The unified government of the human race, founded in Earth Year 2341 with the primary goal of developing Faster Than Light travel to enhance their ability to colonize and research.  Their goal was finally met in 2514 when the first human FTL Ship was successfully launched to 'Alpha Centauri" to become the first human colony outside of the Solar System.  They have since kept a tight eye on all human concentrations outside of the solar system.  Many humans consider their ways of handling things to be too invasive, this has led to independent human factions to form, enforcing a life outside of the UTA's control.

Name: Pendantectors
Contributor: Cooper
Description: Pendantectors, or "Tectors," are ordinary beings that use gems that conduct power from the Arcane Plane, a dimension that coincides with the Temporal Plane and Spacial Plane. These gems are called "pendants," and are made from gems and certain stones. Each pendant is created randomly by tools of the Arcane Plane, though a few kinds are able to be created artificially. Pendants can only be used with the help of pendant conductors, which are special devices created mostly by blacksmiths with dust made of ground Copper and Pearl pendants. Such kind of conductors include steel belt buckles, leather hats, and gauntlets made of onyxite. However, some have been found to contain an innate power granted naturally by arcane means. These extremely rare individuals can use the power of the pendants without actually using the pendants themselves. The name, Pendantectors originated from the use of the pendants to protect the inhabitants of Gorafia from evil Arcane beings, though not all Pendantectors fit this role. Most serve as protectors, and many hire themselves out to a landowner to protect the landowner's property. However, there are some that practice the pendants' magic for fun, and some that practice it for opposite purposes than most.
More information on the pendants and conductors can be found here
Pendants only exist on planet Gorafia; they've not been discovered elsewhere.
Subfactions
True: The True Pendantectors are Tectors that are true to their name. They serve to protect others with their gifts. They range from working class to middle class. Most of them that rise above middle class are recognized by the court of Gorafia and are asked to join the knights of the court.
Knights: The knights are operatives appointed by the court of Gorafia to protect specific areas of the world. They wear civilian clothes that symbolize their position, which are usually made to resemble the pelts of animals like tigers, zebras, and leopards. Their metal armors are most often camouflaged.

Name: New Britain Alliance
Contributor: Sato
Description: Now that the humans and martians were comfortable together, they needed to know about each other cultures. So, the humans took a small island on the terraformed Mars, and modelled it after the British isles. This proved popular with both of the resident species of the planet, so popular in fact, that many Martians and Human Colonials alike moved in there as soon as they could. Because of this, an entire government system had to be established for the islands, based on similar rules to those back on Earth. After some time, the New Britain Alliance and "New Britain" as the islands were names, became the central location on Mars, where all major business operations, trades, industrial affairs, and so on, all happened. The pinnacle of all this, is "Big Ben 2.0" a modern masterpiece, based on the  original Big Ben in London, England, Earth, only with the advantage of being a central trading area and having a beacon that could transmit a message to the furthest reaches of the galaxy, powered by several hundred, extremely expensive,top-of-the-range, reverse engineered FTL engines.

Venator World Government:
The venators never had a need for separate countries and region, instead the whole planet is treated as such. The Iubaris is the leader of this faction and the planet as a whole. They enforce the laws and enforce the culture. They also deal with interplanetary communications.

Historical Events:

Name: The Alpha Centauri Anomaly
Contributor: Daniel
Description: On February 14, 2601, for approximately 18 hours, an unexplained disturbance blocked FTL transports from approaching Alpha Centauri.  When the anomaly dissipated, all sentient life on Alpha Centauri had disappeared.  After an inconclusive investigation, they were assumed dead.  Since then, Alpha Centauri has been repopulated, though many inhabitants are still unsettled when reminded of the event.

Name: Arrival at Gorafia
Contributor: Cooper
Description: January 1st, 2209-Starship Ark-87 landed on planet Gorafia. The ship landed in a city that had been created from a ship deployed before the Ark left Earth. The families of the 30 astronauts deployed left the ship, and buried their mothers and fathers in a facility created by the ship for such a purpose. Of course, the original 30 astronauts were not expected to survive the 87 year trip, so this facility was designed by the scientists who sent them. The humans, who totaled 92 in population, then set up their homes in the city and checked that all the facilities were running smoothly. The next day, the oldest of each of the 267 different specie of animals were deployed from the ship into the city's zoological area. The next day, the leaders of the city set out to make contact with the Borineans, who had made contact with hologram drones years before. The sentients happily accepted the humans and agreed to the requests for releasing the rest of the animals into the wild. Over the next week, the humans sent out ships to release the rest of the 5000 animals into specific areas of Gorafia.

Name: Venator-Human Contact
Contributor: Zohaib
Description: In the year 2800, a human ship by the name of Galaxy IV came into the atmosphere of Opacus. This is the first contact of human life from the Venators. The Venators used their communication scanners on the Human Ship to breach into their communications hub and steal the pre-recroded messages, and words saved in the comm hub's database to translate and learn the English language. This disruption caused the ship to crash on the outskirts of Ventosus City, the capital of Opacus. Most of the human crew has survived and with the help from the Venator World Government, communication systems have been returned, and the human crew is, as of 2810, preparing to return to Earth with this information.

Characters:

Name: Terrian
Contributor: Daniel
Race: Anthrosian
Subspecies: Alrasii (Similar in appearance to a Husky)
Age: 11 (Average Lifespan is 45)
Appearance: Slightly small for his Race/Age, Green Eyes, has the uncommon tan fur where most other Alrasii would have black/grey fur
Gender: Male
Faction: Independent
Bio: Raised on a human Orbital Colony over the fourth planet in the Valsaar System, he never inherited the culture most of his species follows.  At the age of 8, he joined the crew of a medium sized cargo freighter, which he has been serving on ever since.

Name: Sven
Contributor: Daniel
Race: Anthrosian
Subspecies: Luprasii (Wolf-Like)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Slightly darker fur than the average Luprasii, Grey Eyes, scratch mark shaped scar on right cheek
Faction: Smuggler
Bio: A Terran Rebel Sympathizer, and captain of his own modified freighter, "The Spectre" that he uses to move various goods.  He's arguably one of the most skilled pilots in his field and is often hired for missions that involve getting cargo through heavily patrolled space.

Name: Ilivera Yraes (Ih-Lee-Ver-Ah Ee-ray-es)
Contributor: Vansalon
Race: Yverian
Subspecies:
Age: 5233 (Average lifespan is impossible to know since no Yverians have died of old age.)
Gender: Female
Faction: N/A
Appearance: Ilivera is a little short for an Yverian, about the average height of most humans. She has a typical slender build. Her hair is long and straight. It is a light lavender color, and falls even past her waist. Her eyes are matching lavender. Her skin is even paler than most Yverians. She wears a white dress accented with lavender trim and embroidery. The most notable embroideries are the patterns on her sleeves, matching flocks of birds in a lavender color, circling her sleeve. In addition to this fairly expensive garb, she usually wears a pair of silver earrings in the shape of winged humanoids, set with two sapphires each. Her expression is usually somewhat delighted, as she's almost always in a good mood. She rarely frowns. Her mark is on her neck. It is a silvery color, and wraps her neck in a semi circle in an elaborate, lacy pattern, making some people believe she is wearing a necklace when they see her from afar. If she expects to see danger (Like all the time shen she's traveling), she carries her blade at her waist.
Bio: Ilivera is an Yverian of noble birth, being descended from a line of famous Starlords. (Most of whom are still living.) During her childhood, a lot was expected of her because of this, since everyone assumed her powers would be just as great. However, after her mark appeared, she struggled to learn even the Orange sphere, and has developed a deep need to please people out of her seeming inferiority compared to expectations in her youth. By the time she was two hundred she was struggling to master the basic spells of the yellow sphere. Most Yverian Starlords had mastered that sphere by then, and she was regarded with veiled disappointment among her peers. Even disappointed in herself and feeling ashamed to be around her kin, she took up one of the several "Thought Trumps Space" pendants she owned and set out on a journey through the cosmos to learn. She finally returned five hundred years later, now around seven hundred and fifty years old. By that time she had mastered the yellow sphere, and was working on the difficult white sphere. Ilivera had grown better at manipulating Starlight during her time outside of Yverias, and she practically beamed with pride when other Yverians noted her skill. Sometimes she literally beamed, using some minor power and shrouding herself in a corona. She settled down in Yverias for the next few thousand years, occasionally traveling, until she felt that she would learn more outside of her planet, and she left for a long journey once again. She has not yet returned.
Ilivera is a master of the orange and yellow spheres, and is of intermediate power in the White sphere, which is no mean feat, as it is extraordinarily difficult to master compared to the previous two. She bears her family sword, passed down for literally millenia. It is an ornate shamshir (That's the original, Persian, name of a scimitar.) with a silvery white blade as compared to normal metals. It's hilt is an elaborate hand guard of the type usually found on longswords, with both sides curving, one down, one up. The hilt is set on both sides with a diamond carved into a wing shape. The blade, which bears the name Yther, has had so much starlight wrought it into over the years no one knows exactly what it could do if called on. It is unlikely there is any Blue sphere starlight enchanted within the blade, however.

Name: Vance Serrades
Contributor: Vansalon
Race: Yverian
Subspecies:
Age: 3457
Gender: Male
Appearance: Vance is of average height for an Yverian, so he's a few inches taller than most humans. He is one of the few Yverians with black hair. He keeps his hair cut fairly short, rarely falling even to his ears. His eyes are a deep blue. His mark is on the back of his hand, and is a sharp triangular pattern with a vague flame shape in the center. Vance wears a simple black outfit that he can fight in easily, and his sword is always at his waist.
Faction:
Bio: Vance was never a very proficient Starlord in his childhood, though thankfully no one expected very much from him because he was born to a family of merchants. After his mark developed, he began studying the orange sphere, and was able to learn it's basic abilities fairly quickly. However, his progress slowed after that, and he was two hundred before he had mastered it, though he would admit to having only a casual interest in starlight. After struggling with the yellow sphere to an extent, he set that aside for a while and studied swordplay for about a thousand years. Few Yverians ever concentrated on one subject that wasn't starlight for that long, and for a long time he got peculiar looks when he practiced sword moves. He became one of the best swordsman in the capital of Yverias, Ylaina. He reluctantly took up the study of starlight again, and furthered his power in it for another thousand years. Despite all this time, however, he only managed to master the yellow sphere. Disgusted at his own abilities, Vance hired himself as a bodyguard to Yverians traveling away from Yverias. He learned of the technology of the other planets in this time, but was able to keep up combat wise by augmenting his swordplay with starlight. Eventually, he returned from these travels, and had the cash then to purchase a decent enchanted blade. It was a longsword, mostly unadorned in appearance but imbued with many powers of the orange and yellow spheres, and a handful of the white sphere. He never named it, as many Yverians are wont to do, but he rarely uses any other blade. After staying a while in Yverias to perfect his skills at melding in starlight with his sword style, Vance left on a freelance journey with the only pendant he owned.

Name: Kaz Miren
Contributor: Sato
Race: Human
Subspecies: Martian-Colonial
Age: 22 (Human life span has increased to an average of 120 years)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Short black hair, serious demeanour, in the occasion he smiles, it's always a sly, subtle one. Around 6'1 in height, which is a normal size for a Martian-Colonial. He has deep, dark blue eyes and very subtly tanned skin, so subtle in fact, you'd need to be within a centimetre to even notice a slight change.
Faction: New Britain Alliance
Personality: Cheery, eager to explore, ready for action whenever. Bit of a loner, but is good with words and can make allies rather easily. He can often count on friends and teachers from both the Grand university of New Britain, and the Space Pilot School in the USA on Earth.
Bio: Born in 2788 in the "New Britain" Human colony on Mars, Kaz was one of the brighter young men in the region. After graduating from New Britain's top university (The "Grand University of New Britain"), but failing to achieve his dream job of Earthen Ship Engineer, he set his sights on becoming a pilot instead. He decided the best way to do this, would be to travel to his ancestors home planet, "Earth", and study flight and physics there. After 4 years of hard work, he succeeded in getting his pilot's license for space travel, and scavenged together what little money he could find to buy himself a ship. Now, Kaz works freelance, delivering small goods and messages between planets, as well as taking frequent trips to planets he thought looked interesting or exotic. Because of this lifestyle, Kaz has little time for friends, although he hoped that would be something he could change in the future. Current Location: Somewhere near Beta Centauri, first populated after the sudden "Destruction" of Alpha Centauri, before it was repopulated.

Posted my main character.

Just to let everyone know, you don't have to make character sheets for all of your characters, just your primary one.  Although you can make multiple character sheets if you want.

Behold.
Elves.

Yellow: The yellow sphere is basically everything that's in the orange sphere, but more powerful.
There is no recorded Yverian who has died of old age at this time.
Duels between Starlords are common but rarely fatal. Yverians are a naturally curious race but despite this rarely venture away from Yverias.

I'll put more detail into it later, and rephrase it to be a little more clear. But you get the idea. I'll post my characters soon.

Maybe you didn't pay attention. All the effects you listed can only be used by about four Yverians. Basically fantasy archmages. The only exception is the pendant, which is relatively rare given their disinterest in space travel and requires time to recharge anyway, and has a limited duration to the effect. That was one of the things I planned to go into more detail on.

I'm fine with characters having incredibly powerful abilities, as long as it's limited or has a drawback.

Though, try not to abuse it.  Killing someone instantly sounds like something that can easily lead to an OOC argument.

I wouldn't/can't kill other people's characters without their permission anyway. And just so you know, neither of my characters is one of the masters of the Blue sphere. One is skilled in, but has not mastered, the White sphere though.

Ok, but if you plan on anyone using the Instakill on any Character NPC that isn't part of your own personal plot, either let me or the person who made/controls the NPC know, and get their permission.

Sorry for acting this way, I just want to avoid any OOC Arguments, those have ended up ruining a lot of RPs in the past.

You don't have to apologize, and in case you think you're coming off as rude or something you aren't.
And I count NPCs as people's characters if they were introduced by them. If it's a major NPC I'd ask their introducer or you before I did anything permanent to them regardless.

EDIT:

Obviously I added an appearance section since there was a notable lack of one.

That's just fine, I forgot to add one myself because I stupidly forgot that individuals usually have unique appearances xD

Awesome, I can use my Pendantectors idea for this Cheesy

Faction

Name: Gorafia
Contributor: Cooper
Description: A planet very identical to Earth except for land masses. Humans have lived here alongside the Borineans for 1500 years. The planet's ecosystem had been unbalanced by the time the humans came. However, the humans brought many kinds of animals and plants with them from Earth. The amount of animals from earth now about equal the amount of animals native to Gorafia. The Earth plantlife didn't spread as much, though. The civilization of the planet is currently in a sort of medieval/steampunk age, and modern technology like space travel, and television is unheard of except from legends passed down from humans.

Character two.

Not so long as Ilivera though.
