But you can control how much resolution the Wii U can put out. Their's a setting for it, and if a DS Player of sorts does come out on the Wii U, it definitely can play up to 480p showing normal resolution of a 3DS.
By the way, their's gonna be a Nintendo Livestream tomorrow all about new Wii U Games. Maybe something interesting will pop-up.
It will still look blurry putting an SD image on an HD screen. :\ |

So far they showed two games for the Wii U.
One was Bayonetta 2 and Development of the game.
Second is Yoshi's Island in Kirby Epic Yarn form...
Wind Waker remade for the Wii U.

Wind Waker remade for the Wii U.
I didnt think that would happen since it was on the gamecube which wasnt too old and though I kind of wanted it to be a new one, but if it's srs then wind waker remade could potentially be crazy good.  |

Fire Emblem mix with Shin Megami Tensei for the Wii U as well.
Mario Kart HD announced and a new 3D Mario game with some Smash news.
A new Legend Of Zelda game currently announced and in works.

Though FFS, if he gets it, tell him to have a few side quests open before escorting that tribal cheif guy in the forest, otherwise he will most likely end up stuck, as the respawn system makes no sense, and a LOT of others got to where I was and had to quit/start over because there is no way to go back or forward if you can't beat it the first time. :C |
