I don't want this to become a political debate thread, I just want to know how interested you are into American politics (for US and non-US residents).
Personally, I am following the results with a distracted eye, I don't think the outcome will affect me that much, I am just curious as to who will be chosen for this complicated mandate.

Politics affect my age group, my gender group, my field of study and work, but never has a regime affected me directly. My life is already not going that well, I don't think Obama or Romney will make it worse, nor better. Of course I have a preference, but I'll not spend the whole year complaining if the other one gets in.

I honestly don't care much about the election, considering that I have a dislike for both the candidates. Also, apparently as I was typing this, they just announced that Obama won

There were blue fireworks set off outside. Obama won. I can hear people going "WOOOO! SUCK IT ROMNEY!" ... Yeah.

18-30, Male, Technology. I just meant that it does not touch me as a person. I am not important enough as a person to have a political party dealing with me. If I lose my job, it won't be because of one or the other. Everybody's just complaining or praising at the government, but actually nobody says "Man, I just got robbed, if only the Republicans were in place" or "Yay my interview went well, thanks Obama!". We're just the little people, we're the pawns of a worldwide chess game.

Obama is basically doing whatever he can to keep college aged students (18-30) better education, by unvesting in education and technology and creating more tech jobs. He does affect you. Although if you believe that, the green party or libertarian party would probably welcome you with open arms. :x

There's one more detail you did not take into account, but you couldn't know for I have never expressed it. But don't get me wrong, I was for Obama too, all the way. And I respect people who voted otherwise, democracy is important and I have nothing to say about people who do not share my view or have different, but non-less important values.

Our economy fucked up the worlds economy, whether you like it or not, we do affect you foreigners and your economies.
Then, it affects my country (possibly) and later on affect corporations (for which I may, or may not be working for) and then I risk, perhaps, to have my job lost. And if this happens, I won't be like "Damn, Romney would've saved me." ^^
