Seriously, how is there not a topic for this? The Olympics have been going for a few days now and disappointingly, Australia have only got one Gold along with one silver and bronze. We had terrible performances from our Hockey team, Men's relay team and Basketball team so I'm hoping we can turn it around soon.
So get discussing the Olympics!

Yeah, I'm more interested in the Track & field as well. I didn't watch the opening ceremony though, I got home at 12:30AM from a football game and the opening ceremony was on at 5:30AM and I decided sleep was more important, I've heard it was amazing though |

(I googled if Canada won any medals yet, for I have not watched them yet ;3) Winter sports are 50x better than summer. Gymnastics or Snowboarding, Long jump by foot or by Skis, Sprinting or The one where they go around the flags? ;3 I think you see my point... But that will be in 2014, it's Goin to be a great year :3 With the FIFA world cup in Brazil (which I am going to:D) and I'll be in grade ten another step to get out of this sh it hole =.= |

But maybe it's because literally nobody cares about snowboarding, skiing etc because it never snows here.

I think we should be happy with how we're doing considering if you go on overall medal total and not how many gold medals we have won we are about 8th. That's not too bad for a country who's population is nowhere near the likes of China or the USA. |
