As part of the League, you get two teams: The Initial Team and The Rematch Team. Your Initial team, depending on what rank you are, is limited; but your Rematch Team can have up to 6 Pokemon.

Champion: 6 Pokemon, All Fully Evolved.

(Mid Evolved only applies to Pokemon with 3 stages in their evolution. If a Pokemon you want to use only has 2 stages, then it will remain at it's first stage until you make your rematch team, then you can evolve it.)

So when you figure out your type specialty, you can basically pick any non-legendary Pokemon to put on your two teams (if they fit the criteria for the initial and rematch teams).

Also, make some quotes too! (Both in the initial battle and the rematch)

Meloetta is only a pseudo legendary I believe. I figured he meant things like dialga, etc. Since there's a difference between legendary and pseudo legendary, I think it should be clarified.
EDIT: Also, do remember this is the guy who hasn't kept up with pokemon news for a year or so. I'm probably totally wrong, and take anything I say with a grain of salt.

Meloetta is Legendary.
Sure, it meets the requirements of a Pseudo, but because it can't be used in certain establishments like Random Battle (save Chatot) and the Battle Subway, it is considered a Legend.

Just out of interest are we actually making these teams for forum members to battle? If we do, someone could sprite all of the badges and then victors of each gym could place it in their signature to show their skill?

That's what I was thinking, and since I have access to PokEdit, we don't have to worry about getting all the Pokemon in the teams legit.

I did not know the Mind badge already existed. Let's change it to... the Conscience Badge! Shaped as a star.

Doesn't really matter what the levels are, since if we ever do this sort of thing IRL, then the levels are going to be nerfed anyways over WiFi. But for a real game rematch, I think the minimum would be 73 and the max would be 78.

Definitely have EVs, the only problem with levels is that if we make them similar to the games then what level Pokémon would the challenger have? I think to make it a fair fight they should all be lv100.

Screw normal types. That's like the worst type for champions, who aren't supposed to have a type focus at all. Either I'm going to use the rematch team as the first battle team, or I want the type restriction lifted completely since champions usually aren't supposed to have a focus.

Though, question, would we input the levels?

@ Richie - The levels I put are based off the BW2 Elite 4 on Challenge Mode, though I don't know what level we'd do the challengers' Pokémon unless we just made them all 100.

I'm slightly confused yet intrigued by this. Can someone explain how this works? I am interested in joining.

Basically you use a random number generator twice to determine:

a) What position you are (either a Gym Leader, Elite 4 or Champion)
b) What type you are (Fire, Water, Grass etc.)

And when we have all the positions filled people can challenge the league to get badges and try to become the Champion. The battles take place over Showdown since everyone doesn't have a WiFi connection on their DS. Check the first post to see which positions are already filled :)
