Jcb why u change this to quick battling thread, I think there should be a place to specify its an IV battle or at least have it referenced in OP.

IV battles are obsolete. You can't auto-level in Gen 5 to LV100, plus it's much faster to just have someone with an AR tell you your IV's or just upload them to Pokecheck.

cant you just auto level to 50 and double the stats you get there

Most IV's are at a range at 50 when calculated (ex. 27-30), whereas at 100 it's more or less accurate as in Gen 4 (range can sometimes be 30-31 but it's easy to tell). It just much easier to use the above mentioned methods.

GG, your connection was terrible, there was lagthroughout the whole match.

Anyway, Cobalion, Archeops should run max speed, otherwise Sub + Swords Dance would have wrecked that team.

No, you could have broken the sub at least, you really couldn't do anything after the sub was up.

And Durant, Cobalion was faster because you didn't run max speed, which you need to do on Durant, otherwise that happens. You could have crippled it with paralysis, but then again I had a Miltank, it would have helped you though.

Always make sure you've properly trained your pokes before, with evs and natures. Perfect IV's also helps with speed ties and such,

Won due to annoying stall, but still a win. A stall war probably wasn't the best way to start a match.

Next time that happens, just switch out, I knew I could outstall your Deoxys because Seismic Toss couldn't ko me, doing that just dragged out the battle too long.

Plus crit on Roserade wasn't nice, I could have gotten rid of that sash.

Anyway GG, just try not to do that little stall thing again, it got annoying.

Good game, I don't usually use Stalls... But I thought Deoxys was necessary... ._.

Yea I didn't particularly like it either, because it wasn't the effective stall with Toxic, phazing, etc. This was pointless PP stall which was ridiculous because we just started the battle. And running max speed on Deoxys was random, because Roserade should have outsped and Sleep Powdered it (must people invest in bulk anyhow in OU), anyway it was a speed tie so you got lucky on that one.

I knew Roserade could live a Sludge Bomb cuz natural soecial bulk, but running Taunt on Gengar was random too.

I have Max Speed and HP on Deoxys, just for moments where speed is nice. =w= Having four stats over 300 is nice too.

I always run Taunt on my Gengar, it's for Trolling Pesky Status Mons like Chansey. =w= Though, he didn't truly fulfill his purpose. Good Call with the DD when I tried Destiny Bond. -3-

isnt that kind of nooby rules, considering some legends arent very good in battling.  No Ubers makes sense cos they are banned for being too strong, but no legends makes no sense because legend is just a status in story, not in battling.  For example Mesprit is a legend but I wouldnt say it's actually good in a regular battle outside of bottom tiers.

I know, I should've said that, but I said legends mostly for the fact that every battle beforehand with Ian "Ubers" were present.
